Last January I talked to you about the muse of Karl Lagerfeld Baptiste Giacobini. As you can see he has no problem modeling, I think he does not model he just always looks great, so great you may think he is stuck up, but reality is he is a very sweet person, I have a picture with him, but as you know I am not fan on putting my pictures in the site. Going back to him he has developed his modeling career outside Lagerfeld’s ground becoming the spoke person of Richard Mille watches.

From the show to the rack

I am sorry for my long absence, I just made the big move again, I am back in beautiful Paris from amazing Istanbul, a little cold, very happy and very ecxited. Here is my first post with my favorite designer Manish Arora. The next day I arrived in Paris there was the press days of TOTEM fashion; they represent one of my favorite designers Manish Arora who is the present director of Paco Rabbane, and took the fashion world in storm with his debut collection, mixing Rabbane’s codes, some Mugler and his colored touch,he confirmed that revivals can be a good thing. For me seeing the clothes I saw in the show in person was really a great experience, it makes you dream about a character called Violeta Purple that dresses from head to toe in these clothes, Ok, I know it is a little extravagants, but dreams should be, no? As little note TOTEM represents other exceptional talents like Iris Van Herpen, Stefie Chrtiaens, Bernard Willhelm, Walter Van Beirendonck among many others.

Karlie Kloss Paris SS 2012

Simply Beautiful

19 year old american Model Karlie Kloss is one of the most famoust models today (ranked 4). At her young age she has already starred in numerous campaigns (Donna Karan, Nina Ricci, Christian Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, Gap, Sonia Rykiel, among many others) walked in the most famous catwalks around the world, Karlie has position her self as one of the 30 top models of this century. But what is most striking? That after his amzwing career one would expect someon who could be a little stuck up, in fact she is one of the nicest, always giving time after the shows for fans and photographers. So we can say her external beauty is a perfect reflection of what is inside, just how it should be.

Martin Margiela Spring Summer 2012

Blindfold

This collection and photos from Martin Margiela’s Spring Summer 2012 show, explain in some way my life in the moment (between Istanbul and Paris), a few months ago I wrote about the fact I was leaving Paris for Istanbul and now I am going back, inspired, stronger and ready to make some dreams come true, meeting new excting people and taking you along the ride. This the first show I attended of Margiela, I have to confess I just came to know this designer while doing my master, the main characteristic being the brand with no logo, yet those who know the brand recognize it. He is the most “famous” secretive designer (the misterious aspect of the girls makes sense), he does not let himself be photographed or gives direct interviews, yet his work is highly acclaimed by the international press. After having the opportunity to see his first collection I understand why, in his simplicity it is timeless and original at some point intriguing, you want to know the story behind the collection, but it is not sure we will know more, a little like a dream, that is what makes Margiela – Margiela.

There She Goes

Here is a first look to Valentin Yudashkin’s SS 2012 collection. I think this dress defines perfectly the spirit of the collection, light, white with soft flow. A very big contrast with last season’s collection where orange, bordeaux and black where the main colors (I know it is normal, it was the winter collection ).

A model + bodyguards + fashion week = a fashionable exit. Jessica Stam is one of the most beautiful models today ( I think real beauty, there are many famous models today, are more on the she is interesting side, than really beautiful) You can see yourselves in the pictures. She has starred in the latest campaigns of Nina Ricca and Mercedez Benz for fashion week, where she starred in a special video shot by Thierry Richardson . So here she is coming out of the Arzu Kaprol ss 2012 show in Paris.

Lanvin ss 2012

A woman with wings

This morning I watched the backstage video of Lanvin’s ss 2012 show. You can see what goes on, there are pieces of interview of Alber Elbaz talking about what inspired him to create this collection, scenes of Karlie Kloss, one of my favorite models and much more. It is really exciting that today brands give you the opportunity to share this cool world. So as you will see in his video he loves women, he designs for them, and we can definitely see it and feel it. THank you for loving us!!! We love you.
